Mrs. Johnson was the sister of Mary V. Bass. Mary researched the Bedford Co. and Coffee Co. Green, Kimmons, Bass, Keeling, Stephens (and other) families quite extensively, before her death some years ago, often with the help of her sister, Ruth. Over the past three years, I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and spending time with this wonderfully lady, and count it a blessing I was allowed thanks to my family research hobby. Mrs. Ruth, you will be missed! Ruth Kimmons (Bass) Johnson, born 9 April, 1916; died 15 August, 2002.
