    3. Does anyone have information on the life of Joseph Parker who settled in Bedford County sometime around or after 1830? He was born in South Carolina circa 1804. Also am trying to find descendants of his to include in a list of Parker descendants of Thomas Parker. (Thomas Parker>Isaac Parker>Isaiah Parker>Joseph Parker). Joseph was one of 7 children of Isaiah and Betsy Guyton Parker. Thanks, P. Dillard, descendant of Thomas Parker

    3. Isaiah Parker is listed in the Goodspeed's History of Bedford County at this site http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~khopkins/GdspdBiosIndex.html It mentions that he was postmaster in Lincoln County from 1854 - 1859 so you may check that county for records also. Here is their site: http://www.rootsweb.com/~tnlincol/ Good Luck, Cindy Stephenson Robertson
