Does anyone know where a person may have gone if they had TB in 1895? My great grandmother, Mary Etta Tucker Stephenson, died of TB in 1895 near Wheel, TN. Have searched for over 25 years to find any info on her death. No burial or cemetery records found. Understand her husband went back years later to put a stone up but couldn't find the grave. She was married to Jonas Edward Stephenson. Her parents were, W.A. Tucker and Nancie Ann Smith Her Grandparents were: Wm Ervin Tucker and George and Martha (Rainey) Smith Any help with TB sanatorium or any connection with these families would be appreciated.
