    3. There Hodges in early Bedford Co. John Hodge was first Hodge. His dau, Felney Hodge, m. George Price. George Price is brother to Ann Price, who m. James B. Gowen in 1808. I'm not related to this family, but the info is on line in the "Gowen Papers". Names of many of the early settlers of Bedford Co. are mentioned. Good luck. Peace.
