I expect you already know this, but an older Hugh Lawson White is a famous name in TN history. He was a judge and his father, Gen. James White, is called the founder of Knoxville. If you do not get a satisfactory response from this county, try TNKNOX-L. I do not have a maiden name for her born about 1818. I believe they married before 1843, because my second Great Grandmother Parthenia E. White was born about 1843 in TN. This family moved to Arkansas before the 1850 census. If you have any information on this line please send it to me and if you have any questions or need other information I will do my very best to help you. Thanks and May God Bless You!
