First announcements about the book came out in the fall of 2000. We have been working hard, meeting on a regular basis and doing jobs we never imagined would have to be done. I don't think we could have finished sooner without some paid staff. But I'll admit I probably slowed down things by wanting everything to be perfect (it is not, but we tried). The reason the most recently ordered books were mailed first is that the historical society sold them out of extras they purchased. We were worried about getting behind with mailing and filled the orders as soon as we could. I hope you will have your book tomorrow.
