I was wondering if you or anyone else new the parents of Elizabeth Claxton or her siblings. My husband is a Claxton and his dad was wanting me to find out some things about his family for him. They are all from Shelbyville, Bedford County and alot of them buried at Wilamount Cemetery. Starting from my husbands grandparents going backwards I have Buford 1906- and Edna 1903- (Madison) Claxton, John 1885- and Stella 1885- Claxton, James Henry 1846- and Mrs. Claxton -1910, Avery 1817- and Sertia?? 1820- Claxton.     3. Deborah Claxton, I live in Shelbyville (Bedford County, TN) and your recent inquiries have caught my interest because of the Claxton and Sanders names. My great grandfather was Josuah Calvin Claxton b.1831, d. 1909, and he had a sister Elizabeth Claxton b. 1825, d.1887. Their parents were James Claxton b. 1797, d. 1871 and Temperance Rackley b. 1804, d. 1877. Elizabeth Claxton married Stephen S. Sanders b. 1825, d. 1910. I have some other Claxton information, and if you think there is a connection with your Claxton's, I will share it with you. I would enjoy an e-mail from you.
