    3. I would appreciate anything you can find on Martha C. Pickle. I believe she was born in Bedford Cty in 1832. I have no idea who her parents were. She is on the 1850 census living with Jonathan and Penelope (Pickle) Leggit; perhaps they are her guardians? She is likely related to Penelope, but I don't know what the relationship is. I would appreciate anything leads to Martha's parents. Martha married William H. Marshall around 1854, somewhere in TN. Thanks Lynn Stewart Visone > > Hello, the following books are located at my local library for Bedford County. 3. Hi Melissa, and thanks for your generous offer to do some lookups in the Bedford County books :) When you get a chance, could you look for some information containing my Noblit ancestors in Bedford County? The specific mystery I have in one link is this: Thomas Noblitt b. abt 1813, Bedford Co., TN, died before 1850, probably in Arkansas. Thomas was a son of William Noblitt (1789 - ?) and Mary Whinery (1789-?) of Dist 22, Bedford County (per 1850 Census). Thomas Noblitt married his wife Rebecca (unk surname) probably in Bedford County. By 1850, both Thomas and his wife were dead, and their 2 children Nancy T. Noblitt (1843-1914) and John M. Noblitt (1844-1899) were living with their grandparents William and Mary Noblitt in Bedford County. (On the 1850 Census in Bedford County, their surname is spelled Noblet, but it is actually Noblitt and all the Noblitts and Noblets in Bedford County are of the same family.) Correct spelling is actually Noblitt. If you are able to find any information about Thomas Noblitt/Noblet's marriage to a Rebecca, and how they died, I would appreciate that. Also, any information as to why old William Noblitt/Noblet, his wife Mary, and grandchildren by Thomas moved to Benton County Arkansas by 1860 would be appreciated. This Thomas Noblitt has been the real mystery man of my family history search, and I have next to no information on him at all.
