    3. Jackie, I have a John A. Moore, b. 1817 d. 1884-1885; married to Sophia Price Blanton in 1836. This John was son of Henry and Parthenia Moore. I don't think this is yours since he's only a child in 1820's, but thought I'd let you decide if you wanted more info or not. He does have a daughter, Nancy born in 1845 who married James W. Blanton; they adopted children and lived in TX. 1. [TNBEDFOR] Re: TNBEDFOR-D Digest V02 #215
    2. I am excited to announce that the first phase of our web page is now up and ready for everyone to visit. At this time, we do not have any family trees out there. However, we have centered on documents. I and 2 other genealogists have been gathering since the 1970s and my daughter and I have decided to make the effort to make it available to researchers. No fees, it is free - as genealogy ought to be. Our main lines are: DeShields, Parton, Womack, Green, Austin, Brittian, Bly, with twenty or 30 more names added in. However, you will find things like: Alton Prison Journal by Capt Frost Index; Boone County, Arkansas Burial Association (gives members who died within a 90 day period 1938-1948), and much more. Also you will find a photo diary of the Beech Grove Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Bedford, Tn. We just completed a document gathering trip to the Tennessee Archives and Manchester, Shelbyville, Murfreesboro and areas in between. We have only started in transcribing the information. If your Tennessee Ancestors came to Arkansas, or passed through on their way to Oregon, this might be a good source for you. Come visit the sight and if you want to add something, let us know. Sign our guest book, we would like to know what you think. <A HREF="http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jmwtlw/index.htm">Rock Fence Genealogy - Main</A> or you can paste the following address in your address link box: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jmwtlw/index.htm Tonya Parton Williams & Reta DeShields Parton 1808 W Huntsville Springdale, Ar 72762 479-751-6947 rpsodapop@aol.com gggranddaughter of Handy DeShields and Nancy Womack DeShields ggrandaughter of John Wesley DeShields and Frankey Greene DeShields grandaughter of Dennie DeShields and Ruby Lee Austin DeShields daughter of D. Deshields - (no category for recording listed) September 1868 - Josiah & Robert Deshields - By experience August 1877 - Josiah Deshields - Letter of Dismissal Hope this helps, Kathryn <snip> It seems Beech Grove was a border area. 3. Hi Rita, I am a NORTON researcher and live in Manchester, about 15 minutes from Beech Groove. My NORTONs were in thick with several of your families, and Norton's Branch is just to the north over the ridge from McBride's Branch. Several of my NORTONs married JACOBS and RAYBURNs. I am not sure, but I believe I've seen suggestions that one of my NORTONs also married a SORREL, Mary SORREL, I think it was, but I've seen nothing on this for sure. I'm interested in whether or not we connect. I cannot answer your question, but I remember a DeSHEILDs researcher posting at least one query on the Coffee County, TN, homepage, and I recall it being pretty informative. Hope this is of some help!
