    1. [TNBEDFOR] Bedford Co Family History Book
    2. If you ordered a copy of the Bedford County Family History Book, it now appears that it will be mailed to you by Dec. 31st. If you are picking it up in Shelbyville, we hope to be able to give you a place and time to pick it up on Dec. 15th. I will get back to you with complete information as soon as we know. There will also be announcements in the newspaper and on the radio. The book was originally advertised as 200 to 300 pages. It is going to exceed 500 pages. There is an excellent possibility that it will have an EVERYNAME INDEX. The Historical Society has ordered some extra copies and these will be available for sale in Shelbyville on the pick-up day for $60.00. It is possible the price will be increased after that day. We will continue to post information about availability and ordering at Lila Coley's website: http://www.geocities.com/bedfordcounty/book.html We appreciate all the material that has been submitted and all the folks who helped us to get the book published by buying a copy in advance. We hope you will be pleased with your book. It isn't perfect, but we are pleased and excited about what we are seeing. Carolyn

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Fletcher, Wyninger Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/IhB.2ACI/322 Message Board Post: Does anyone have anything on Ed Fletcher (born 1853) and his wife Matilda Wyninger (born 1855)? They show up in the 1880 census as living in District 1, Bedford, TN. I thought they were from Coffee County, but possibly they are from Bedford. I know who they are and their children (their daughter Tennie was my g-grandmother), but I don't know anything about their parents at all. Any help?

    2. We are getting set up to deliver the Bedford County books on Dec 15 or Dec 29, depending on when we get them. The mail-out books will go about the same time as the local books. We are not POSITIVE we will have them in Dec, but very hopeful. 3. Peggy about a year and a half ago or at least a year ago anyone that had family from Bedford County of Tennessee could send in a story and a picture of their family and it would go into this book. Along with tax, church record and a lot of other things. They would sell the book to make money for the County History and it was a very good idea. A lot of my family came from Bedford and Marshall County so I got two books and put two of my lines in the book. My line was Russell and Blackwell. I did have others but at that time I didn't know enough about them like I do now. Donna granny01@uci.net
