    3. There's mention of Martha C. O'Neal in the book, but she was born in 1843, and married Francis M. Storey, so is apparently a different one. 3. Hi Wayne, The Argie Cooper Public Library in Shelbyville does have a copy of the Marsh's book on the Cemeteries of Bedford County. In fact, they might even have 2 copies. Their history room is a great resource for anyone researhing in Bedford County. I think it is just that they do not allow books from their history room to circulate. 2. Kathryn Hopkins
    3. Hello List Members, I know everyone is very excited now that the books are available and are being shipped and those that haven't received their book yet are very anxious to get their copy. If you want to know the status of your order, please contact Carolyn directly instead of posting your message to the TNBEDFOR list. Carolyn has agreed to this arrangement and can look into your requests on an individual basis. Her email address is: carolyngenealogy@aol.com Also, I have had a request from several list members to discontinue sending "testimonials" about how wonderful the book is to the list. Please feel free to send these types of comments directly to Carolyn or myself ( kathopkins@yahoo.com ) and we can share your comments with the Bedford County Historical Society at our next meeting. In case you haven't heard, there is one other newsworthy item about the Bedford County Family History book. It won the "Best County History" award for the year 2002 from the publisher! So, even though it took a bit longer than expected - it is well worth the wait. Thanks to everyone for contributing their family histories to help make this such a success! Thanks for your cooperation in this matter. Carolyn will continue to post general updates reagarding the book to the TNBEDFOR list as they become available and as necessary.
