Clinton Courier Oct. 7, 1976 Lafollette Miner Dies Of Heart Attack Dock R. McCoy, 85, of 400 North 13th St., Lafollette Community Hospital of a heart attack. A retired miner, he had worked for Moore Coal Co., of New River, and he worked on his New River farm until about four years ago. He was a member of Moore's Chapel Baptist Church, Petros F&AM Lodge No.625 and the Lafollette Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth McCoy, three daughters, Claudine McCoy and Jamie Bary of Lafollette and Mrs. Faye Lowe of Clinton, a son Joe McCoy of Wartburg, 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City with the Rev. Lester Anderson officiating. Burial and masonic services were held at Campbell Memorial Gardens.
