Clinton Courier News - Jul 24, 1980 Sam R Wallace, 80, of Auburn Heights, Michigan, died Jul 16, 1980 at his home. He had been in ill health for several months. He was a native of the Clinton area and son of the late Sherman and Kate Wallace. Wallace was an employee of Chrysler Corp for 39 years until 1963. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Royal Oak, Michigan. Survivors include his wife; Mrs Hollis Johnson (Johnnie) Wallace; a son, James Sherman Wallace; and two daughters, Mrs Mary Lou Markistrone and Miss Peggy Wallace, both of Michigan; six grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs Adeline Wallace Seeber of Knoxville. He was the author of two books, "Acorns to Atoms, a Grassroots History of Oak Ridge", and "Good Morning Professor". A brother; Judge T L Seeber of Clinton, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife; Adeline W Seeber of Maryville; sister, Glenna Seeber Pace of Clinton; a niece, Janet Pace Holmes of Knoxville; and a nephew, Lynn Seeber of Louisville. Services were Sunday at Mann's Heritage Chapel with the Rev Dave Ward officiating. Burial was at Highland Memorial Cemetery.
