He was a native of the Clinton area and son of the late Sherman and Kate Wallace. Wallace was an employee of Chrysler Corp for 39 years until 1963. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Royal Oak, Michigan. Survivors include his wife; Mrs Hollis Johnson (Johnnie) Wallace; a son, James Sherman Wallace; and two daughters, Mrs Mary Lou Markistrone and Miss Peggy Wallace, both of Michigan; six grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs Adeline Wallace Seeber of Knoxville.
