She lived on Park Rd, Andersonville Rt 1. She would have been 91 on May 1. Mrs Hill was born and lived her entire life in the Andersonville community, much of that time on a farm in the vicinity of old Mt Moriah Church, of which she was a member until the construction of Norris Lake flooded the area. Mrs Hill had been ill for about 15 years and suffered from pneumonia at the time of her death. She leaves a son; Robert Ridenour of Andersonville, Rt 1; a daughter, Mrs Charles (Rosa) Sharp of Nashville; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Leon Polston; and a sister, Mrs Maggie Stooksbury, both of Andersonville. Services were held at 2 PM Wednesday at Red Hill Baptist Church. Burial was in church cemetery.
