Clinton Courier Nov . 4, 1971 Mrs. Armes 78, dies Tuesday Mrs. Bertha Armes, 78, of Dyllis Rd., at Oliver Springs Rt.1, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday following a heart attack. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday (today) at New Fairview Baptist Church, which she attended. The Rev. James W. Ogle officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Archie Raby of Oliver Springs and Mrs. Velma Beck of Memphis, a son, John Armes of Nashville, seven grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Willie Braden and Mrs. Arizona Jones, both of Oliver Springs and a brother, Dewey Daugherty of Oliver Springs.
