    3. Neal: The paper has Leon Bean passed away Jan. 7, 2007. Is this correct? Should it have been Jan. 7, 2008? Which date is correct? Thank you so much. Barbara BEAN, LEON - age 81, of South Knoxville, passed away Monday, January 7, 2007. Mr. Bean was a member of Seymour Community Church and a lifelong resident of South Knoxville. He gave 38 years of service to Robertshaw Fultons. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Mae Cummings; step-father, Robert Cummings; father, Deadrick Bean; step-mother, Edna Bean; sisters, Joyce Ault and Joyce Cummings; brothers, Don, Benny, and Roy Bean. Survivors: wife of 61 years, Myrtle Webber Bean; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Calvin and Sue Bean; daughter, Charlotte Dykes; grandson, Keith and Alyssa Bean, Kevin and Dawn Bean, Jason Dykes; brothers and sisters-in-law, Samuel and Hannah Cummings, Lester Cummings, Joe Cummings, Doyle and Paula Bean of Chattanooga, TN., Stanley and Joyce Bean of Atlanta, GA.; sister-in-law, Mary Lee Bean. Our deepest gratitude is expressed to Adventa Hospice and St. Mary's Residential Hospice for their dedicated service. We would also like to thank the church families of Seymour Community Church and Galilee Baptist Church. Funeral service 7 P.M. Wednesday in Atchley's Seymour Chapel with Rev. Pete Koster officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 A.M. Thursday in Highland South Cemetery for graveside service and interment. The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M.
