PERKINS, RAYMOND A. - age 86, of Clinton, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Methodist Medical Center. He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Clinton. Raymond retired from Greyhound Bus Lines after 38 years of service. He was also a basketball official in Anderson County and surrounding counties. Raymond was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by parents, Alexander and Susie Perkins. He is survived by: wife, Ora Lou Perkins of Clinton; daughters, Sharron Bilbrey & husband Roy; son, Raymond "Doc" Perkins & wife Tina; grandchildren, Wade Bilbrey, Summer Collins & husband Bobby; great-grandchild, Kiersten Collins; brother, Reynold Perkins. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM, Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Portland Building, 2200 Sutherland Avenue, Suite H102, Knoxville, 37919. Holley Gamble Funeral in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
