Clinton Courier June 11, 1954 Mrs. Marie Daugherty Mrs. Marie Daughtery, 76, died Thursday at her home in Briceville. Survivors are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Braden and Mrs. Lucine Braden, both of Briceville, five sons, John Qualls of Oliver Springs, Bill Qualls of Briceville, Charlie Daughtery of Knoxville, Robert and S.M. Daugherty of Briceville, two sisters, Mrs. Josie Taylor of Pruden and Mrs. Mark Stocks of Ohio, 36 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children. Services were held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Laurel Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Phillips officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Martin's of Lake City in charge.
