Clinton Courier Oct. 9, 1975 Fuzz Willis Is Felled By Heart Attack Alonzo L. (Fuzz) Willis, 71, former employe of the Anderson County highway department, died early Saturday morning of an apparent heart attack at his home on Bland Rd., Clinton Rt.1. Willis was born in West Virginia but had resided in Clinton most of his life. He retired from the county highway department eight years ago but had done some work for them in recent days. Willis raised cattle and as a hobby, enjoyed whittling. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eula Willis of Clinton, two daughters, Mrs. Emil (Shirley) Glandon and Mrs. Chester(Audrey) Daugherty, both of Clinton, two sons, C.J. Willis of Clinton and Otto Willis of Garden City, Mich., two half-sisters, Mrs. Carl Comer of Oliver Springs and Mrs. Kirby King of Clinton, 14 grandchildren. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. The Rev. King Duncan officiated. Burial was in Sinking Springs Cemetery.
