Notes for James Steven (Jimmy) Lowe: Appalachian Observer News - June 25, 1986 James Steven Lowe, 39, of Clinton was killed June 20 in Marietta, GA when he was struck by a pickup truck while hitchhiking on Interstate 75. Cobb County police reported that Lowe was in the Northbound lane of the highway when he was struck. The truck driver reported that he could not see Lowe in the dark in time to stop. No charges were filed in the 1:10 AM accident.
