Clinton Courier July 14, 1977 Briceville Native Dies In Crash Dallas Brown, 32, of Cleveland, Ohio., died July 6 in a Cleveland hospital of injuries received in a motorcycle crash. A native of Briceville, he and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Brown, moved to Ohio in 1952. he worked at several jobs in Cleveland. Other survivors include a son, Cort M. Brown and a daughter, Kimberly Brown, of Cleveland, a brother, Philmore Brown of Briceville, and four sisters, Mrs. Shirley Jean Martinez, Mrs. Angela Mills and Miss. Barbara Brown of Cleveland, and Mrs. Virginia Kay Elkins of Nolan, W. Va. Funeral services were held Sunday at Laurel Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Duncan and the Rev. Edwin Phillips officiating. Burial was in Brown Cemetery near Briceville.
