Clinton Courier March 29, 1973 Mrs. Hatmaker Observes 98th Birthday Mrs. Nancy Hatmaker, wife of the late W.R. Hatmaker, celebrated her 98th birthday on March 18 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harley Rains, Clinton Rt.1. Mrs. Hatmaker has made her home with the Rains family for the past four years. She is a Campbell County native. Children present for the celebration were, Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Cox and Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Baird of Jacksboro and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Hatmaker of Lake City. Those who could not attend were, Mrs. Dora Cox of Rockwood, Mrs. Claude Hatmaker of Knoxville, and Mrs. Oscar Watson of Mississippi. Mrs. Hatmaker has one son who is deceased, Hubert Hatmaker. There ar 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
