He was a member of the Baptist Church and Masonic Order. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Annie Hatmaker Braden, four sons, Leon of Lake City, Columbus, Gene, Bobby Braden all of Briceville; six daughters, Mrs. T.J. Roysden of Rockford, Mrs. Jerry Stuenckel of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. John House of Knoxville, Mrs. George Miller of York, PA, and Mrs. Ruth Braden od Briceville. Two sisters, Mrs J.G. Queener of Harlan, KY, Mrs. Vista Hodge of Ohio. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Fraterville Baptist Church with the Rev. O.S. Duggar officiating. Burial was in Circle Cemetery with members of the Masonic Order in charge at the grave. Arrangements were by Martin Funeral Home of Lake City.
