Clinton Courier July 2, 1981 Mother Of Heiskell Woman Dies The mother of a Heiskell woman, Mrs. Rova Mae Norton Rutherford, 75, of Andersonville Rt.2, in Union County, died Sunday at St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. She was the mother of Mrs. Marie Kidwell of Heiskell. Mrs. Rutherford was a native of Union County. She was a member of Byrams Fork Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing. Her husband, Tom, died in 1970. In addition to Mrs. Kidwell, Mrs. Rutherford if survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Flatford and Mrs. Edith Flatford, both of Andersonville Rt.2, 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, step-mother, Mrs. Vera Norton of Powell, a sister, Mrs. Mary Drake if Powell, a brother, Ernest Norton of Kentucky, and a stepbrother, Willie Sharp of Halls. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Byrams Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Gray, the Rev. Roy Beeler and the Rev. James Capps officiating. Burial was in Ridenour Cemetery.
