    3. Clinton Courier Nov. 4, 1971 A.B. Bullock Dies At 91 Rites Sunday Amon B. Bullock, 91, retired caretaker of Memorial United Methodist Church in Clinton, died last Thursday night at Oak Ridge Hospital. He was admitted Oct. 11. The Campbell County native moved to this county about 22 years ago and worker as a laborer for Tennessee Valley Authority, later working at the church. About the last 10 years of his life he was confined to bed most of the time but enjoyed fishing when he could get out. He was first married to Carrie Lassie Sharp, and the couple had 12 children, one of whom died in infancy. The first Mrs. Bullock died 29 years ago. One son Alonzo Bullock, died last week. A daughter, Mrs. Ethel Turner was murdered four years ago. With this second wife, the former Pearl Lindsay and their son Vester Bullock, he lived in the Clearview Community on Andersonville Highway at Clinton Rt.1. He was a member of North Clinton Baptist Church. Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Holley-Gamble Funeral chapel with the Rev. R.L. Lovette and the Rev. Bedford Bullock officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery. He also leaves four daughters, Mrs. Cora Moore and Mrs. Mae England, both of Clinton, Mrs. Lillie Murray of Texas and Mrs. Reba Miller of Dayton,O., five other sons, Carl, Luther and Hubert Bullock all of Clinton, Vaughn Bullock of Knoxville and Riley Bullock of South Carolina, a step-son, Bobby Lindsay of Clinton, 33 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren, and a brother, Silas Bullock of Lake City.
