I suppose it is possible that we are kin but I haven't found it yet, if we are. I correspond with one of his descendants. Do you know who Penelope Voiles in Anderson Co. is? You just don't see many Penelopes but Grandpa William had a granddaughter Penelope. And there is one in the 1850 Anderson Co., TN census about the same age as my William. David Smith Viles I have him being the son of Jonathan Voiles - Viles b. about 1820 md. 1844 in Greene Co., Tn to Susan Chapman they had kis Alexander W Viles b. 1845- Nancy Lucinda Viles b. 1852- Charles b. 1856-58- then David Smith Viles.- .. some of David Smith Viles and Hannah Maness kids lived in Hamblen Co., Tn.. but I don't have any that went to Anderson Co., Tn that I know of...
