    1. Re: [TNANDERS] Native American Heritage
    2. Thank you, Joyce. I don't believe I have found these yet. However, husband and I drove the Cherohala Skyway from Tellico Plains, TN to Robbinsville, NC, recently. Of course we discovered that Robbinsville is the burial place of Junaluska. That was neat - to be right in the midst of their ancestral homeland. Tried this one and it no longer exists - _www.tripod.appalachiansummitt.com_ (http://www.tripod.appalachiansummitt.com) Have maneuvered through the second one and it might take a while. I had no idea how to access such information so I appreciate your help. I'm still a little befuddled by tracing Native American ancestry in lots of ways but I have specific questions if you want to answer. Am I correct in thinking that a male would discover if he has Native American ancestry through his father by going through the male DNA route? And a female would discover if she has a NA ancestor through her maternal line? I am just really vague on this and something is not clicking. Helen **************Ideas to please picky eaters.
