Does anyone know if this is George White that was the son of James Kelly White and Elizabeth Braden? Thank you. Ron BRICEVILLE, TN (AP) - A rock fall at a strip coal mine near here Wednesday crushed one miner to death and injured a second. Killed was George White, 50, of Briceville. He was crushed under a boulder. Elmer Cooper suffered slight injuries when falling rock knocked him from a truck.

Ron, I'm in the White family and they were all from Knoxville area but after the mother died the children moved in with Susan Eliza White in Anderson Co. She married John A. Prosise, Her sisters were Mary who became a school teacher and married ? Emma Chester White, married Robert A. Prosise, & Fannie married and moved to Calif. I found her living in Death Valley, Calif. Have all information. She died in Pamona, Calif. and cremated and imformant was a McPherson.
