Horace married Nancy Sharp, and their daughter, Laura who married Robert Adkins.?? Horace and Nancy had 4 children:? Hattie, Robert Houston, James Matthew and Nancy.? Robert and Laura's children are Hattie,?Edgar and Henry?Houston (Buster, which is my grandfather).?The deafness in the family is actually called Waardenburg's Syndrome.? It doesn't effect every member of the family, but it skips a generation or too before it appears again.? Horace disappears after the 1880 census.?
