Thank you, Don. We have a Voyles,Voiles,Viles DNA site but far as I know, no one has been tested for Native American heritage. It has crossed my mind but I don't believe it is my next step, at present. Thank you for informing me and good for you. I sincerely hope that more Eastern TN folks will do some genealogy testing and that should help a lot of us. Don, what is involved in "the full DNA test program" for determining if a person is of Native American descent? Does it have to be done through the male line? I am enjoying your list. As with all TN sites that I have found, pa rticipants are helpful and polite and pretty darned good researchers. Hi All, Go to URL FamilytreeDNA.com and read the reports on the tests and cost involved. It can be accomplished for Male or Female for the Native American type tests as it is from the MtDNA area.
