Eastern Daylight Time, MPiros1120@aol.com writes: Paper and date unknown at this time Minister of Petros The Rev William J Christopher 70 of Petros died Saturday evening in Oak Ridge Hospital where he had been a patient for a week. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr Christopher was the pastor of Beech Grove Babtist Church at the time of his death. He had been pastor of eight other churches among which were Middle Creek babtist Church, Sugar Grove Babtist Church, Petros Babtisit Church and Pine Orchard Babtist Church. In addition to his ministerial duties, Mr Christopher raised cattle and according to his family enjoyed visiting many friends. He is survived by his wife Mrs Eva Seiber Christopher, three daughters, Mrs Claude Rankin, oliver Springs, Thelma and Wilma Christopher at home, three sons, Billy and Oliver of Petros and Bennie of Mason Ohio and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. in Petros Babtist Church with Rev Edwin Phillips and Rev Elmer Brown officiating. Burial was in Petros Cemetery.
