Dear Gerald: If you have ever tried to go to UT Hospital you will remember malfunction junction. It is where I-275 runs into I-40 West. In these days you stay in the left lanes and go under the bridge that goes to the Henley Street tunnel, toward Chapman Hwy. Right where you enter interstate 40 West is malfunction junction, or used to be. Personally, I think it is worse right up interstate 40 West a few hundred feet, where you have to try to go either to the airport (Alcoa Hwy.) or 17th Street. You get in the wrong lane there and you are "up the creek without a paddle." Hope you are well. I haven't talked with you in a while. Sincerely, Elizabeth (Libby) Smiddy LaFollette, Campbell County, TN
