Uncle Garnett's daughter's name was Lorine and her brother's name was Earl. Earl was born normal but as a young child he got sick and it left him mentally challenged. He hated wearing shoes. Was always barefoot in Devonia. He was always asking for cigarettes. Any time during the day you could hear the church bell ring or car horns honking. Earl would be doing them. I always thought maybe the illness made him deaf or partially deaf. Thought maybe he could hear loud noises. After many years of trying to find my Aunt Myrtle I found my cousin MARION HENRY CHRISTOPHER. He told me Earl was in a home and now wore shoes...My Aunt had died (1999) when I found Marion. He came from Indiana to visit me about 6 years ago but died not much longer afterwards of cancer.
