He was married Cynthia Ayers who preceded him in death August 17 1942 at the age of 54 Mr Christopher had six children, two who preceded him in death. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs H I McCloud of Yuma Colo, Mrs Lorine Herrin of Oliver Springs, two sons, Earl of Oliver Springs, and R. H.of Bell Calif: two sisters, Mrs Pearl Denny of Dutch Valley and Mrs Lucy Taylor of Middlesboro KY: five brothers, William (Bill) of Petros, Paul of Kingston, CARL of Jacksboro, ERNEST of Indiana and Otho of W Virginia. Mr Christopher was a deacon of Moore's Cha[el Babtist Church in Devonia and at Middle Creek serving on executive board. He was a retired coal miner, He worked at Devonia for Moore Coal Co for many years. Mr Christopher who had been in poor health for several months, died in East Tenn Chest Hospital Friday Feb 13 at the age of 79. Funeral Services were held at Middle Creek Babtist Church Sunday Fen 15 with Rev Lloyd Napier and Rev Homer C Hooks officiating. Interment was in Baker Forge Cemetery near LaFollette with Cox Funeral Home of Lake City in charge. Pall bearers wre Arnold Walls, Welch Jackson, D.B.
