I was lQQking at one of my Grandpa HENRY WARD's Bibles and found some marriages written down. Had noting to do with the WARD family...except my Aunt MYRTLE WARD. Thought maybe some of you might want to see these dates. I believe they lived at one time or another in Anderson-Campbell and Morgan Co. My Uncle Ernest was a preacher in Dutch Valley.. CHRISTOPHER Marriages CARL CHRISTOPHER to FANNIE WOODS June 6 1915 LUCY CHRISTOPHER to FRANK TAYLOR Aug 31 1915 GARNETT CHRISTOPHER to CYNTHIA AYERS Mar 7 1917 ESTELLA WOODS to ROBERT PHILLIPS Dec 25 1926 ERNEST CHRISTOPHER to MYRTLE WARD May 16 1929 BILL CHRISTOPHER to EVA SEIVERS Aug 13 1931 JOE CHRISTOPHER to EMMALINE BROWN Aug 241932 PAUL CHRISTOPHER to KATHLEEN WILSON Jan 20 1934 I remember Uncle Garnett Christopher. He was a neat man. Ernest and Myrtle were my aunt and uncle. Uncle Ernest has an artificial leg but I never knew it till my mother died in 1949. I went in their bedroom and it was just standing there....I was 8 years old and it freaked me out.... Millie: Garnett Christopher lived in Coalfield for many years and died here. He was a member of the church I attend. His daughter died fairly young and I saw his grandson last fall for the first time in probably 35 years. I'm not related, but it was interesting to see the name.
