Clinton Courier Oct.24, 1990 Kenneth Murray A Ridgeview Drive man, Kenneth Murray, 75, died suddenly Sunday at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The Anderson County native was the son of the late Mynatt Murray. He was reared in the Robertsville Community, now a part of Oak Ridge. Mr.Murray was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation after more than 20 years service as the Region One Asphalt Plant inspector. A member of the South Clinton Baptist Church since 1937.he enjoyed singing with the church choir,Gardening was one of his favorite. Survivors include his wife, Edna E.Murray, a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Wilma Murray of Lenoir City, a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Sam Loyd of Powell, grandchildren, Angie and Mitchell Murray of Lenoir City, Randy and Marie Loyd of Ooltewah, Ricky and Tammy Loyd of Morrison, mother, Mary Ann Murray of Clinton, brothers, Woodrow and Ralph Murray of Clinton, Leon Murray of Athens, sisters, Ura Kelley of Dallas,Texas, Jean Foster and Dean Woods of Knoxville, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday night at South Clinton Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Owens and the Rev. Raymond Sanderson officiating. Burial was held Wednesday morning at Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens in Claxton.
