Clinton Courier Jan. 6, 1944 Millard J. Webster Millard J. Webster,68, died at the home,Clinton Route 2 Tuesday at 5 a.m. He was a retired merchant and farmer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maggie Webster, five daughters, Mrs. George Cooper and Mrs. Kelly Long of Clinton, Mrs. Madge Leinart, Lake City, Mrs. Kenneth Hughes of Knoxville, and Mrs. J.T. Wallace of Cincinnati, four sons, Theodore, Boyd and Edgar of Clinton and Paul of Baltimore,Md., four sisters, Mrs. W.H. Turner, Mrs. L.B. Watkins and Mrs. L.W. Webber of Knoxville and Mrs. Florence Johnson of Clinton, two brothers, J.C. Webster of Clinton and J.F. Webster of Knoxville, 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services were to be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Clinton of which he was a member.Burial was in the Sunset cemetery with Rev. C.E. Wright officiated. Holley Gamble had charge.
