She is also survived by a sister; Beulah Long of Clinton; four sisters -in-law, Geneva Webster of Lake City and Jeanette Leinart, Effie Webster and Blanche Webster, all of Clinton; and by several nieces and nephews. She was born March 30, 1908 in Anderson County, the daughter of Millard Judson and Maggie Smiddy Webster. She married Kelley Long in 1936 in Anderson County and moved to the Black Oak community of Clinton where she had lived all of her life. Her husband died earlier. Mrs Long was a faithful member of Black Oak Baptist Church in Clinton where she had taught Sunday school and Bible school. The church gave her a plaque for her more than 40 years of service in Bible school. She was a member of the Women's Missionary Union, the Anderson County Home Demonstration Club, and the American Association of Retired Persons. Her family said she loved fishing, gardening, flowers, and helping family and friends. Mrs Long is survived by her sisters-in-law; Effie Webster, Blanche Long, and Blanche Webster, all of Clinton; several nieces and nephews, including those she considered special, Pam Lowery, Naomi Long, and the Rev Paul Larry Webster, all of Clinton; and several grandnieces, grandnephews, and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. Ailene Huckaby and Mary Long Sprouse were her devoted caretakers. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs Long was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Theo Webster, Edgar Webster, Boyd Webster, Paul D Webster, Charlie Webster, Madge Leinart, Ruby Cooper, Delta Wallace, and Juanita Hughes.
