Clinton Courier Jan. 22, 1981 Lake City Native Dies, ill One Year A Lake City native, Mrs. Lillie Marie Richardson, 67, died Saturday at University Hospital in Knoxville after an illness of about a year. She made her home in Lake City until 1960 when she moved to Knoxville. She had been living in Morningside Gardens Apartments on Bertrand St. in Knoxville. Mrs. Richardson did domestic work in Lake City and Knoxville. Her late husband John (Doc) Richardson, was a farmer. She was a member of Cherry Bottom Baptist Church. Funeral services were Monday at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Henry Parks officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Richardson leaves two daughters, Miss. Lonna B. Richardson and Mrs. Billy (Mary) Hurst, both of Knoxville, two granddaughters, Kelly and Leanne Hurst of Knoxville, two stepchildren, Mrs. Russell (Georgia) Goodman of Los Angeles and Amos Richardson of Lafollette, several other grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Reynolds, Mrs. Eva Bailey and Mrs. Maggie Fisher, all of Lake City.
