Dollie Scanlan Mrs. Dollie Scanlan, 84, of Worden died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday in Litchfield Nursing Home after a long illness. Born Nov. 16, 1886, in Cole Creek, Tenn,, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Crutchfield. She was married to Patrick Scanlan Dec. 15, 1903, at Trenton. He died June 14, 1964. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Trula Stoddard of Worden; sons Edward Scanlan and Wendell Scanlan, both of Venedy, Driscoll Scanlan of Nashville and Lowell Scanlan of Washington Park; 19 grandchildren; sisters Mrs. Ovie Lanter of Troy and Mrs. Minnie Bell of Carreyville, Tenn., and several greatgrandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, a son, Gleason Scanlon, preceded her in death. She was a member of the Worden United Methodist Church. Friends may call at Williamson Funeral Home in Worden after 4 p.m. today. The Rev. Perry Newbury will officiate at funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the church.
