    2. From the Oak Ridger 1 Feb 2005 Vera F. Chambers, 65, a resident of Harriman, Sue Knight, 57, of Powell, Vera F. Chambers, 65, a resident of Harriman, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, at her home. Born May 1, 1939, in Scott County, she was the daughter of Kelley Jeffers and Macel Williams Jeffers. She had lived in Roane County since 1954. Mrs. Chambers was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Chambers. She was a member of Orchard View Baptist Church in Oliver Springs. Before her retirement, she worked at Roane Hosiery for 32 years. Mrs. Chambers is survived by her daughter, Nancy Chambers of Richmond, Ky.; and her brother, Herbert G. Jeffers and wife, Mary H. Jeffers, of Rossville, Ga. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005, in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs with the Rev. Garvan Walls officiating. A graveside service and burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, at Carson Memorial Gardens in Oneida. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Sue Knight, 57, of Powell, went home to be with the Lord, on Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. Sue was a member of Moran Baptist Church near Clinton. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl McKamey. She is survived by her husband, Lee "Dale" Knight of Powell; sons, Bobby Lee Patterson and Bryan Dale Knight, both of Powell; mother, Aileen McKamey of Oak Ridge; brothers, Floyd McKamey of Oliver Springs, and James McKamey and wife, Juanita, of Clinton; sister, Peggy Brown and husband, Judd, of Oak Ridge; granddaughter, Cailee Patterson; and nieces and nephews, Mark Brown, Greg Bunch, Adam Bunch, Mary Bunch, Phillip Bunch and Denise Sherwood The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Kenny Sharp and the Rev. Kenneth Seeber officiating. A graveside service and burial will be at noon Wednesday, Feb. 2, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
