Isaac Key, Married a Hoskins in fact 2 of the Key's married Hoskins. I think it's one reason the Key- Hoskins Cemetery has that name, anyway Isaac & Caroline Hoskins along with his sister (Sarah) Key Prosise & husband went to Texas with Isaac. Isaac dies in Texas and Caroline come back to Clinton & remarried but only lived 3 or 4 years. My G Grandmother Sarah Key Prosise had a son while in Texas & that was my grandfather john dudley Prosise. Born in Austin Texas. I think they went to Texas over the up-coming war. thomas & Sarah left Clinton and went to Missouri where he joins the Union army, as soon as the was was over they packed up & went back to Clinton. sarah Key prosise has a son in Mo. named Charles. I just can't believe all of this Key family are gone. Sarah back in Tenn. died along with 2 little girls. I've never seen the name of Robbie E. Key as a child of John W. but as I said there are 2 I have no names for.. As far as I traced they had no children in KNoxville all were born in clinton so say Thomas J Prosise war records read. I know on the internet it says that but it's not true.Where did you find the marriage of Effie Prosise ? I don't think she & Robert ever married but lived as man & wife in Mo.1st, cousins could not marry in Tenn. could they ?? I've search Kansas & no record but on Effies death cert. it has husband "unknown" the family I feel were trying to hide facts.Effie lived about 25 years after Roberts death.Her family were all dead by 1936.
