He was a native of Scottsboro, AL and a steamfitter with Oak Ridge National Laboratory, member of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 718 and member of the Knoxville chapter of Harley Owners Group. He served on the Citizens Advisory Board for Toxic Waste Cleanup of the Oak Ridge Area. Survived by parents, Preston Edwin and Jenny Whitworth Hillis, Rock Island, TN; brother & sister-in-law, Madison & Jill Hillis, Jacksonville, FL; sisters & brothers-in-law, Sisi Wilson & Jim Kinnard, Lebanon, TN, Rebecca Inman, Kingston, TN and Patsy & Jimmy Campbell, Lafollette, TN; nieces, Sarah Wilson, Lebanon, TN Brandy Ward, Ellensburg, WA and Jennifer Russell, Miamisburg, OH; nephew, Aaron Campbell, Lafollette, TN. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by grandparents, James H. & Sarah Hennessee Hillis and Floyd & Josie Mayfield Whitworth. Louise was a loved and respected member of the Hickory Valley Community and Zion Hill Baptist Church. Her lifetime career was providing loving child care out of her home. She was preceded in death by: her loving husband, James R. Ridenour; parents, Curtis Raley & Cyble Mills Raley; brother, Charles Raley and grandson, Joseph "Joey" Hatmaker. Survivors: son, Tony Ridenour and wife Cheri of Heiskell; daughters, Patricia Curchy & husband Jon of Clinton, Sandra Duncan & husband Carl of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Andrew Baker & wife Lucinda of Clinton, Kayla Baker, Chris Ridenour, Beth Ridenour, and James Preston Duncan; step grandchildren; step great grandchildren; sister, Betty Casey of Norris; brother, Walter Raley of Deerlodge. She leaves behind many loving sisters, brothers-in-law; mother-in-law, Dixie Ridenour; several nieces and nephews and close cousins. Barbara was born December 28, 1928 in Kewanee, Illinois and was a member of Norris Religious Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by: parents, Joseph W. & Alma Ruth Duggins; brother, Dennis Duggins and special friend, Arnette Crabtree. WIDENER, FREDA P. - age 80 of Norris, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. Freda was born July 11, 1924 in Corbin Kentucky and was a member of Oak Ridge Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by: husband, Ray K. Widener; parents, Robert Westbrook & Pearl Harris; sisters, Edith, Evelyn and Helen; brothers, Kay, G.C. & Buster. Survivors: daughters, Brenda Spence of Nashville, Mary Ann Widener of Norris, Kathleen Fritts of Andersonville; sons, James R. Widener & wife Mary of Alabama, Claude E. Widener & wife Sharon of Lake City; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. WILLIAMS, LUCAS ROBERT - age 20 of Powell, TN passed away Monday January 31, 2005 at his residence. He was a member of Moran Baptist Church in Clinton, TN. Lucas enjoyed fishing, and outdoor sports. Lucas was preceded in death by: his father Floyd Eugene Williams and grandparents Teddy & Kathy Martin.
