Hello Listers, My husband is a direct descendant of Virgil Neely, who lived in the Devonia area. Virgil is buried in the Beech Fork Cemetery, was born May 31, 1894, and died April 1, 1957. His daughter, Betty Jane married Thurman (Thumb) Carroll. He was married to Virginia Hatcher and had another daughter, (that I'm aware of) Alice. I don't have anything on either Virginia or Alice, other than Alice married an Unknown Sweet and lived in the Knoxville area as of 2000.
