John, I've been meaning to tell you about Robert Alexander Prosise & the 2 daughters of Thomas Jefferson Prosise. I know you will find this information on the internet but it is wrong. Robert Alexander Prosise, first born of Thomas Jefferson & Sarah F. Key was not born in Knoxville he was born in Clinton as were the 2 daughter's that died along with Sarah ( with in months). I also know this is on LDS records but it's also wrong. T J was married all 3 times in Clinton & never lived in Knoxville. I've documented this from census's war records & etc. Now, Emma Chester White and all the White girls were born in Knoxville and believe all were married there by a Rev. White. He must be related but don't know where he comes in at. but married only . The White girls came to live with John Amsterdam & his wife Sasan Eliza White, because their mother died. There was Mary, Susan, Emma & believe Fannie. I think there was 1 son. I don;t have records in front of me. I have all the Prosise's pretty documented. Sarah Key Prosise left 3 sons when she died Robert A. John D. & Charles. Charles death date came from the family Bible and he was born in Missouri during the civil war. I've never able to trace him at all but died around 1880 in Clinton or maybe went to Missouri with his father & died there after 30 years I gave up.He shows up in Census Of anderson Co. but when T J filed for an Army pension Charles was not listed as a living child.
