Hi John, I don't have all of my Prosisie work here at home. I have not forgotten you want some. It goes like this, Thomas Jefferson Prosisie, born 15, Oct. 1838 in Dinwiddie Co., & he is the one who married Sarah Key, Mary Clark,& Sarah E/ Webster. His father was Thomas Dudley & Rebecca Mabry Roland (Rowland) Prosise Of Dinwiddie born in 1778 & she 1807\8 Fredrick Co., Va.Now that's a surprise because I thought in Sussex Co., Those 2 came to Anderson Co.,both are buried in the Old Baptist Cem. Thomas Dudley father was Thomas Prosise who married Henritta Brown in Sussex Co., Va.His father was Thomas Prosise who married Frances Vaughn b. 27, Dec. 1735. His father was Thomas Prosise who was born in 1710 and married Mary ? I've never been able to find who Mary's maiden name was. Records in Va. are very hard to find because the records were burnt during the civil war. Most of the Va. Prosise's are buried at the Blansburg Cem Petterburg, Va. To search you almost to have to go with wills and land grant's. I have one land grant signed by Thomas Jefferson before he became President. I think my gg grandpa Thomas Dudley is the only Prosise who settled in Anderson Co..,Others went into ILL. N.C. Ky, Texas, Kansas & Missouri.. all of those Thomas's to work with was just wonderful (grin) Phyllis
