The person I'm going to start out with I believe is the son of Thomas S. & Henritta Brown Prosise of Va.and they never left Va. Note the spelling but it is Prosise This is a copy of a Bible page. 1. Lewis Perzise, born 20, April 1866 in Sampson Co., N. C. 5. Henry Perzise, born Oct. 26, 1868. Sampson Co., N.C. 6.Mary E. Perzise, born 29, Jan 1871, Sampson Co. N.C.(full name was Mary Etta 7. William R. Perzise, b. 2, June 1873 Samson Co.N.C. 8. Josepus Perzise , B. 6, Feb. 1875, Sampson co., N.C. 9, E.J. Perzise, b. 20, Mar. 1889 Sampson co., N.C. 10, Susan Perzise, b. 1849 Sampson Co., N.C. Now, this Bible must have changed hands or ? 1. Clara Byrd, born.8, Nov. 1888, Sampson Co., N.C. 2. Preston Byrd, , born Dec. 4 , 1890 Sampson Co., N.C. 3. W.L. Byrd, 2, May 1893. Sampson Co., N.C.3 I'm sure this Bible page came from Lonnie Brock Jr.of N.C. Thomas & Mary Perzise Byrd were the parents of the Byrd's listed here So it seems that Mary had the family Bible. Phyllis
