Alma H. Leonard Alma Hammond Leonard. 83. formerly of Westvale, died Monday in Clinton. Tenn. She was born in Jellico. Tenn. She retired in 1980 as an office worker at New York Telephone. Her husband, Alexander, died in 1974. A son, Larry Lay, died in 1994. Survivors: Two sisters, Lois Meier of Rochester Hills, Mich. and Wilma Patterson of Lake City, Tenn.: five grandchildren. Jerry, Andrew and Scott Lay, all of Tennessee, Laura Smith of Syracuse and Cheryl Zehner of Camillus; five great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. today at John C. Tindall Funeral Home. 1921 W.
