Clinton Courier July 17, 1986 McAdoo St. Woman Dies At Home A resident of Clinton all her life, Mrs. Polly Powell Phillips, 51, of 803 McAdoo St., died at her home Saturday. She had been ill with circulatory problems for about a year. A member of Moran Baptist Church. Mrs. Phillips enjoyed fishing and outdoors activities. She is survived by her husband, G.M. Phillips, three daughters, Mrs. Allen (Pasty) Linkes, Mrs. Danny (Betty) Hill and Mrs. Sherry Daughtery, three sons, Joe, Johnny and James Phillips, all of Clinton, 11 grandchildren and two brothers, Lewis Powell of South Clinton, and Leonard Powell of Oliver Springs. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Revs. Kenneth Seeber and Bedford Bullock officiating. Burial was in Batley Cemetery.
