Ward, 73 L.D. Ward, 73, a retired blacksmith formerly of Anderson County, died Wednesday at Oak Ridge Hospital. Although he was here about a month prior to his death, his home had been at Decatur for some time. He and his wife, the former Sally Patterson, were living there when she died about a year ago. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Indian Bluff Baptist Church with the Rev. Edwin Phillips and the Rev. Guy Lively officiating. Burial will be in Indian Bluff Cemetery.
